Farmo is an all-Italian company, founded in 2000 to create high quality products dedicated to a public with specific nutritional needs.

A 20-year history

Since we were born, we have been bringing good food and the culture of gluten free to the dining table: from Italy to the world.

With twenty years of experience, Farmo is a point of reference in the gluten-free food sector and beyond: healthy and highly flavoured, its products are also appreciated by a public that loves tasteful and delicious Italian cuisine. Farmo was founded with the aim of creating a reference centre for specialised food, aimed at the world of intolerances and specifically gluten and coeliac disease.

The year 2010 marked a strategic turning point with the construction of the new production site in Casorezzo (MI); the facility is dedicated to the production of Mix and Bakery products.

Farmo discovered America and its products made their way onto American tables. With the positioning “Eat a better life” Farmo became synonymous of quality and taste overseas.

In 2015 a second plant was opened in Casorezzo, completely focused on pasta lines. In 2017 the expansion continued with the opening of a third production centre dedicated entirely to the Bakery Line.

Environmental, social and corporate governance

At Farmo we believe that environmental, social and governance factors are important for a company’s growth. This is why we have decided to apply ESG (environmental, social and corporate governance) guidelines: an approach usually used to measure an investment and which we apply to understand and increase our value. By applying these guidelines, we can measure, on a day-to-day perspective, the impact that our business decisions have on the environment, on society and on the company itself, thus combining economic objectives with concrete ethical goals. Research & Development

It is the focus of our activities. That is why we have chosen to devote 6% of our profits to Research & Development. Over the years we have developed technical and scientific skills in the area of Applied Research with the objective of create and produce high quality products specifically for the Gluten Free market.

Certifications

Farmo has the most important product and manufacturing certifications: BRC, IFS, NON GMO Project, Gluten free certifications (GFCO, GFCP), organic certification, Fairtrade, Kosher and SMETA ethical certification.
